I recently remembered a personal
experience which brought back uneasy feelings of frustrations and impending crisis. I remembered that it felt as if a "ton of bricks" was being dropped on me in that moment. In my reflections, I considered the following questions, "What do you do when someone drops on you what seems to be a ton of bricks?" I envisioned both negative and positive responses to such a situation. The pile of bricks can be used to build a wall, a fort, or even a tomb, wherein a person can attempt to isolate and protect oneself. Or the same "ton of bricks" can be used to build a bridge, a ramp, or a passageway into a future of renewed life and freedom. Which will be your response if the proverbial "ton of bricks" lands on you? Brain Gavanaugh Quote this article on your site | Views: 449 | Print | E-mail
