Great things come in small packages, but you've just got to make sure the right package gets to the right person. According to news reports, Mircea Rau bought two necklaces—one for his wife and one for his mistress, each bearing the relevant woman's engraved initials. He could tell the two women apart, and he could tell the two necklaces apart, but apparently he couldn't tell the two packages apart. He accidentally gave his wife the wrong necklace, and she threw a fit. She also threw an ashtray that knocked Rau unconscious. He was taken to the hospital and his wife has gone to court seeking a divorce. No word on what happened when the girlfriend opened her gift.
