A couple strolled about in New York City one warm evening. They came upon a ConEd electric generating station, quietly humming about its business. The wife mused, "Though we've lived nearby, we have never known it was here." Some people are just like that—people who quietly do their jobs, run farms, fix shoes, pump gas, cut hair, and teach children.
