Katrina Grant was having cold feet about her upcoming wedding, so her fiance, Luke, did something to take her mind off it. He stabbed her. The thirty-six-year-old Warwickshire woman received twelve stitches and was treated for a collapsed lung after the attack. But her lung was the only thing that collapsed — her love for Luke didn't. In June 2004, a month after hearing the sound of an ambulance siren, she heard wedding bells when she and her groom walked down the aisle. I'm sure the guests were nervous and concerned about the marriage, especially when the bride and groom cut the cake. Katrina said, "[People] don't understand how I could marry Luke after what he did, but no one knows him like I do." But I'll bet the guests knew better than to give the couple cutlery as a wedding gift. Quote this article on your site | Views: 453 | Print | E-mail
