A young schoolboy faced an oral exam in history and knew that he would be asked, "Who discovered America?" He knew that it was Christopher Columbus but was afraid he might forget as he stood up in class, so he pinned the answer inside his coat. The next morning the teacher called his name, and as he stood up, she asked the dreaded question. The boy opened the wrong side of his coat, peeked in, and answered proudly, "J. C. Penney."
