Joe DiMaggio, one-time home run hitter for the New York Yankees, once asked his teammate, Lefty Gomez, what to say when sportswriters asked where his great power came from. "Don't worry about that," Gomez replied. "It's when they ask you where your power went that it's time to worry." We may not be able to explain or understand how God's power helps us to resist temptation and to choose loyal service to Him. That's not our concern.
