Provide
A German court has ruled against a woman who claimed a phobia of official mail. The finance court said that the woman was sent a letter in May 2007 asking that she provide evidence to support continued child support payments for her daughter. After she failed to respond, she was notified in July 2007 that the money was being cut off and given a month to appeal. Only in September did she reply and supply the requested documents - telling authorities that she had a phobia of official correspondence. A phobia of official mail - maybe I should try that next year on the IRS.

Following his playoff win this week at the US Open, Tiger Woods is out for the rest of the 2008 PGA season and will undergo knee surgery. He's got a wife and a little baby to provide for - how's he going to make ends meet?

Peace
It has been reported this week that Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee are back together. They have made peace and are back living together. Odds at Las Vegas, however, is that they will have their first domestic disturbance by the end of the month.

Mercy
The Saudis announced on Tuesday that there is no shortage of oil. They have plenty of oil reserves. Well, why don't you show the world some mercy and tap more of those wells.

Children

A study suggests that men would live longer if they did more housework and helped out more with their children. The Victoria University study found that although men had more leisure time than women, they did not spend it engaged in "meaningful activity" and might literally die of boredom. I wouldn't mind helping out with the kids but please no housework.

In Indian this week, a young girl whose lemonade stand was robbed of $17.50 chased the eighteen year-old suspect into a nearby home and called police. Dominique Morefield describes the incident saying, "The guy came up and was like, 'Give me your money.' I was shocked. It was just my immediate reaction to chase after him." What is the world coming too when kids rob lemonade stands.

Wait
The Boston Celtics are champions of professional basketball. The Celtics put the Los Angeles Lakers away 131 -92 at home this past Tuesday to win the 17th NBA championship in team history. Now, it is just a matter of time before football starts. I can't wait while my wife can.

Kindness
A Manhattan judge has cut Leona Helmsley's dog's trust fund. Judge Renee Roth has reduced the trust fund for the dog, named Trouble, from $12 million to $2 million. The remaining $10 million now goes to Helmsley's charitable foundation. Leona Helmsley must have really loved that dog.
