Do you value and pay attention to everyone? The story is told of a young man who attended a small college. He was in his second year and looking forward to a great future. A professor gave the class a pop quiz which included a most unusual question. The last question read, "What is the name of the cleaning lady who cleans our classroom?" The class was astounded and finally one man spoke and asked the professor if the question would count toward the grade on the exam? The professor shot back, "Absolutely. In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They all deserve your attention and your care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello' to them." The college student said later, "I've never forgotten that class. I also learned very quickly - that her name was Dorothy." Quote this article on your site | Views: 228 | Print | E-mail
