A young man phoned his mother and excitedly announced that he had just met the woman of his dreams. "What should I do now, Mom?" he asked. "Well, why don't you send her flowers and, on the card, invite her to your place for a home cooked meal?" his mother suggested. The young man thought this sounded like a great idea. A week later, the woman came to dinner. The following day, his mother called him to see how things had gone. "I have never been so humiliated, Mom," he moaned. "She insisted on washing the dishes."
